Park and Recreation Aides can work in many different areas within a park or historic site, including:
Park Offices Park and Trail Maintenance Historic Site Interpretation Environmental Education Sanitation Workers Golf Courses and Pro Shops Patron Assistance and more! Many park regions also employ a limited number of seasonal trades people and recreation specialists.
Minimum
Qualifications:
There are no Civil Service minimum qualifications.
Qualifications for each seasonal position are based on operating needs and vary based on the assigned work location and job title.
Pay:
Current hourly salaries for Park and Recreation Aides range from $16.
00 - $22.
75 per hour depending on location, type of work available and the experience of the applicant.
