We are a full-service community hospital located just 30 miles from New York City.
We are currently seeking a part-time dedicated food service supervisor to work in the fast-paced environment of Food Service.
Excellent Management skills are essential.
If you're a qualified supervisor who is able to run an efficient kitchen, this is the perfect job.
Paid training provided.
In this role you will:
Supervise, schedule, assign, instruct, and inspect the work of food service workers.
Ensure that food is properly handled, apportioned, and served, and that service is prompt and courteous.
Instruct subordinate personnel concerning policies, procedures, and regulations.
Store and rotate supplies, as directed.
Maintain records of food service operations, i.
e.
meal census, personnel records, floor activities.
We require:
Completion of eighth grade education Three years of satisfactory food service experience in an institution or large commercial establishment.
Morning and afternoon shifts are flexible, every other weekend a requirement.
