Bathers provided but looking for someone who doesn't mind jumping in to help out with possibly washing one or two of their own.
Responsibilities:
- Groom and style pets according to client specifications and/or breed standards - Perform basic grooming tasks such as bathing (rarely), brushing, and nail trimming - Handle and restrain animals safely and securely during grooming procedures - Assess the health and condition of pets' skin, coat, ears, and teeth - Provide recommendations for additional grooming services or veterinary care as needed - Maintain a clean and organized grooming area - Occasionally interact with pet owners to understand their preferences and ensure customer satisfaction Requirements:
- Previous experience as a professional pet groomer - Knowledge of some of the common breeds and their specific grooming requirements - Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments - Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services - Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Must own basic tools.
