Responsibilities:
- Assist lead plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems - Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings - Assist with pipe threading and cutting to required lengths - Perform basic field service tasks under the guidance of experienced plumbers - Assist in the installation and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems - Learn to build and assemble plumbing components and fixtures - Collaborate with a team to complete construction plumbing projects - Utilize hand tools to perform various plumbing tasks - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Skills:
- Basic understanding of plumbing principles and practices - Familiarity with pipe threading techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings - Knowledge of field service procedures for plumbing systems - Understanding of plumbing systems and their components - Proficiency in using hand tools for plumbing tasks - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths - Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions Note:
This is an entry-level position as an apprentice plumber.
Training will be provided on the job.
