The following job duties are included but not limited to :
Responsible for staff scheduling to include:
work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks,overtime assignment, back up for absent employees and shift rotations.
Filing Oversee the preparation/creating schedules for the Nursing Department (CNAs/LPNs).
Ability to allocate and maintain an adequate staffing schedule/pattern to assure nursing coverage in order to meet daily patient care needs.
Maintaining attendance records for all shifts in the Nursing Department.
Assist in generating monthly nursing department schedules.

Plans and develops systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.
Checks daily staffing pattern as scheduled.
Maintaining daily staffing levels safe patient handeling.
Excellent customer service skills, detail oriented, team player, and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and clients, both on the phone and in-person.
Be responsible for day-to-day staffing of cases,problem-solving, ensuring customer satisfaction Prepares payrolls for the current weekly period.
Reconciles daily (or on the next business day) the number of scheduled staff with the number of employees who reported for duty, and makes adjustments as necessary.
Experience:
Must be able to keep up in a fast pace environment.
Good typing skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (Must).
